Scarf recieved and a new project started!

Hello friends,

The scarf was given to my friend Maria today and she liked it!  I am so glad :).  Here are a couple of photos of her wearing the scarf !

I started working on this hat a couple days ago because I have  been knitting so much lately that now I don’t want to stop. I am using size 6mm / US 9 needles with a soft and gray wool.  One last winter project to wear this season before it is too warm to wear anything knitted.  Of course I will keep knitting up more pieces to wear or give away next winter !

Pattern for Circle/ infinity scarf

Hello friends,

my completed circle scarf!

I realised after my post that I hadn't included the pattern that I used to make the scarf.  So here it is:

Materials:

Fisherman's Wool (medium)
5.5 mm needles

Pattern:

Cast on 60 stitches
Work all rows knit two,  purl two all the way to the end of each row.
Continue knitting until the scarf measures 6 feet long or until the end of 465 yards of wool (which I did)
Cast off
Then use your knitting needle to thread the remaining wool (from the end of the scarf from casting off) to sew the top of the scarf to the end of the scarf.  This will create the "circle/ infinity" part of the scarf because it will be circular in shape!

Bunny and Carrot wine bottle toppers!

Hello Friends,

 

I was shopping at Pottery Barn last weekend and came across this basket full of knitted bunny and carrot wine bottle toppers.  It gave me inspiration to knit some of these up for Easter.  Of course along with it I will include instructions on how to knit some of your own!
