Christmas Preparations

Hello Friends,

Countdown to Christmas: 15 days!

It is getting closer to Christmas now I am sure most of you are working on completing those amazing knitted gifts for loved ones.  I know I would love to receive the amazing knits I have been seeing on your blogs lately.  I finished knitting the hat for my boyfriend and now I just need to finish the infinity scarf for my mom, then I am done for gifts.

As you can see I still have a long way to go! I will be knitting a lot in the next week to complete the project!  Then the next project will probably be something nice for the New Year celebrations.   I’m thinking something silver and sparkly.
Today I started getting to work on writing my Christmas cards for some friends and family.  Time has gone so fast and I better get mailing them out soon! I picked up these cute cards from Target the other day and just love the interesting design.

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season!

  1. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I've decided not to make many Christmas presents this year, only a couple, I was working flat out last year to finish some so I decided not to put myself under so much pressure this year. I love the hat you knit for your boyfriend, he'll love that. I've promised to knit a hat for my mum but I haven't come across a pattern I like yet.

  2. Hi Lisa, what a beautiful raspberry colour for your moms scarf. I am currently working on a baby coat for my grandson, it's not a Christmas gift though so the pressure is not on to finish it.

    1. Thank you, its more a red color but I can see in these photos it came out more pink color which would be nice as well! That sounds adorable I can't wait to see your post about the coat. I love kids clothing its so tiny and cute. It's nice to be able to knit at your own pace and theres no Christmas deadline :)

  3. Thanks for popping by Lisa......the Christmas crafting is in full swing around here, which doesn't leave much time for blogging at the moment. Love the colour yarn you're using for your boyfriends hat......enjoy your Christmas card writing.
